For the purposes of centralized accounting, keeping and use of topographical, geodetic and mapping documents there has been created State Cartographical and Geodetic Fund storing the respective materials for the whole territory of the Republic of Moldova. These materials are of technical, scientific, economic, historical, social and cultural interest.
Topographical, geodetic and mapping materials and data are distributed for use to public authorities and private sector on demand, observing the Fund Regulations.

"Kartverket" Norwegian
Cartographic and Cadastre Authority, International Services implement Norwegian
funded projects in Georgia, Kyrgyzstan,
Moldova, Ukraine and
other countries. Since 2016, as a joint activity for the projects, Kartverket
organize regional workshops in respective countries. In 2019, Kartverket jointly
with the National Agency of Public Registers organize a regional workshop ‘Integrated
Geospatial Information Framework’ that taken place in Georgia from 1
to 3 October 2019. The workshop venue is Lopota Lake Hotel in Kakheti region.
